I had issues with hemorrhoids for years. The first surgery I had with another specialist only gave me about five months relief before coming back with a vengeance. I had a very poor quality of life as a result of internal and external, bleeding hemorrhoids, trying every cream, ointment and suppository that I could get my hands on, all to no avail. Dr. Lorber was recommended to me by my gastro, and I thank God for that. She examined me, carefully explained what procedure she’d perform to give me an optimal outcome and was frank about the post-op discomfort and recovery (don’t worry: if you had the terrible issues I did, a few days of soreness was a great trade-off) I would experience. The surgery came off without a hitch. Recovery was complete within about three months, and Dr. Lorber—in a follow-up exam—assured me the issues I had would not return. It has been just short of one year today since the surgery and things are GREAT. Dr. Lorber is the best at her specialty!
